Call for Papers: Show Off Your Tips, Tricks, and Tactics for Hand Papermaking

Being a practitioner of hand papermaking means that there aren’t many of us, relatively. Which makes teaching your knowledge even more meaningful.It ensures that the practice will not only continue, but thrive. In the spirit of sharing, this issue of the Friends of Dard Hunter Bull & Branch will feature your tips, tricks, and techniques for hand papermaking.

Your article can be as broad or detailed as your see fit. It can be something you learned from your teacher, or something you’ve discovered in your studio or mill. Topics could be artistic or scientific insights, equipment modifications or fiber discoveries, or suggestions on the ideal papermaking playlist. You got this!

  • 300 handmade paper samples at exactly 2”x3”.
  • Your samples will be featured next to your article in this issue.
