Women's Studio Workshop Internship & Residency Opportunities

INTERNSHIPS

Paid Nonprofit Management Internship
This six-month internship provides $300/month stipend, free on-campus housing, unlimited studio access, and the opportunity to exhibit work at the end of the term. Paid Studio Internship
This six-month internship provides $300/month stipend, free on-campus housing, unlimited studio access, and the opportunity to exhibit work at the end of the term. Studio Interns work with staff and resident artists on projects that may include printmaking, papermaking, book arts, and arts administration, in addition to assisting with the ongoing operations of the facility.

Paid Summer Internship
This two-month internship provides $300/month stipend, free on-campus housing, unlimited studio access, and the opportunity to exhibit work at the end of the term. The Summer Intern works in the kitchen and works with the Studio Manager on all ArtFarm-related projects. This two-month internship runs through our Summer Art Institute (SAI) workshops. Summer Intern will focus on honing culinary skills and agricultural knowledge as it relates to non-traditional papermaking fibers. RESIDENCIES

Art-in- Education Workspace Residency
This opportunity is for artists with teaching experience, a knowledge of intaglio, silkscreen, or hand papermaking, and an interest in working with public school students. Artists teach in the studio 1-2 days/week for the four-week residency. In exchange, they receive on-campus housing and 24/7 studio access in etching, papermaking, letterpress, silkscreen, book arts, photography, or ceramics. http://bit.ly/1IXnADD

Chili Bowl Workspace Residency
This residency supports WSW's annual Chili Bowl Fiesta! Residents divide their time between creating bowls, mugs, and tumblers for the Chili Bowl and working on their own ceramics project of choice. Artists pay $100/week and must contribute 50 glazed or 100 bisqued bowls by the end of their residency. In exchange, WSW provides on-campus housing and 24/7 studio access. http://bit.ly/1h05CHE

Studio Workspace Residency

Studio Residency in Malmo, Sweden
Spend four weeks at KKV Grafik Studio or Sculpture Workshop Monumental! Artists can work in printmaking, woodworking, ceramics, enamel, glass, metal casting, metalworking, model making, and more! Beisinghoff Printmaking Residency
